I was at HCA Florida for several days, going thru the ER and then admitted. I feel this HCA is great! Dr's. Kozlov and Okorare and their teams were amazing. The dedication is abundantly clear. When my ride home fell thru last minute, they hired a Lyft for me. They were a blessing. Thank you!

Knee Surgery June 24, 2026 COMMENTS 1. Hospital called us at 6pm on June 23. Told us to be at Same Day Surgery at 5:30am. I told them that asking two 80 year old people to drive over an hour in rural pre-dawn darkness was unreasonable. They moved the time to 6:30. 2. We arrived at 6:15. The check-in lady showed us to our pre-op room. No nursing staff was present. No one was in pre-op except the patients. 3. Nursing staff arrived a little before 7am to do pre-op. 4. Anesthesiologist arrived about 8:30 and we had a good discussion of what would happen and the meds involved. I told him that I would not use Percoset, Percodan or oxycodone post-op. I work best with merperidine ½ 50mg. He told me the surgeon would have to prescribe that. 5. Dr Z came in and out of the room at about 9:30 for no more than 15 seconds for me to sign surgical consent forms. There was no discussion of the procedure and no discussion of post-op. He asked no questions and left before I could ask him any questions. We never saw or heard from him again either pre-op or post-op. 6. A caring and professional staff I had after knee replacement surgery. The physical therapist Meg was so great and encouraging. All my needs were met while at HCA for four days. Thank you for the care that was provided.

Professional and caring staff. Never experienced that kind of care. Thank you so much. My stress level level dropped when I got to the Surgical floor. Everyone was so kind. In fact, I did not haave any post operative problems. Thank you all for your kindness. I am meeting my physician Dr. Lee for a post operative meeting. She was absolutely wonderful!

My experience was excellent! I had an outpatient procedure that I was completely sedated for and every person I encountered was wonderful. My preop appointment begin with Keisha, who was so kind and helpful! I had zero questions about what to expect for the Check-in process. Then I met with DeZuan, also fully prepared for my questions and thorough with my health history, : Another excellent employee! I received a call the night before for my check in time and other than the slight clunkiness of going to ER to access the hospital before it opened, it was easy to check in. The intake nurse, physicians and the nurse anesthetist all introduced themselves And again, were very thorough with questions about my health history. The surgery went well, recovery time restful yet brief and I was taken to the car in a careful and professional manner. I definitely would recommend surgery at this hospital.
